Keen buyers can now explore two new showhomes at CHAP Homes’ Countesswells and Crest of Lochter developments.
At Countesswells, CHAP Homes is building 30 three and four-bedroom homes of varied and distinctive design, with first release prices ranging from £257,995 to £437,995.
The four-bed Ormaig showhome opened earlier this year, with a new showhome — the three bed semi-detached Kintraw — now open. Prices for this start at £259,995.
You can find out more about both showhomes at CHAP Home’s upcoming Christmas event. The Westhill-based housebuilder is hosting a festive coffee, cake and cocktails event, courtesy of the team at Figment. This will take place at the development on 16 November between noon and 3pm.
Those coming along will be able to take advantage of limited-time incentives, including £99 reservations made on 16 or 17 November and legal fees paid, as well as a £1,000 introduce-a-friend bonus (terms and conditions apply).
Plus, an independent financial advisor will be on hand to discuss mortgage options.

Crest of Lochter
In Crest of Lochter, the new showhome is a three-bedroom Cullerlie with porch (prices start from £259,995).
The recently-announced second phase comprises two, three and four-bed houses just 30 minutes’ drive from Aberdeen, with prices starting from £204,990.
The development sits adjacent to the Ury Riverside Park, and boasts stunning views of Bennachie from some properties. It’s also beside the local primary school, with the academy and the town centre just a short distance away.
One of the flagship properties — the four-bedroom detached Lochbuie villa — has a porch picked out in charcoal stone. Downstairs, as well as the large lounge and kitchen diner, there’s a home office, and upstairs the master bedroom has its own dressing room.

The incentives
Incentives are available for homes in both these developments and can be tailored to suit.
Depending on the buyer’s timescale and the plot they like, these can include free floor coverings, help with legal fees or paid land and buildings transaction tax (LBTT).
In some cases where the customer has a property to sell, the housebuilder can offer the additional peace of mind of an assured sale.
Here buyers reserve a CHAP home and look to sell their existing home on the open market. If it hasn’t sold by an agreed cut-off date, usually around four weeks before the entry date, then the developer will purchase it at a previously agreed price.
