If you’re at all familiar with MM Auto Services Ltd, then their recent win as Servicesure’s UK Autocentre of the Year won’t come as a surprise.
The independent Dundee business has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2011, when Managing Director Murdo MacIntosh took over a small garage on Hawkhill.
By 2017, after building up a strong team and customer base, they’d outgrown the space and expanded into their current Brook Street property. The move involved an extensive refurb, including building an MOT lane for Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles, but it paid off – customers love the new garage’s premises and convenient location just minutes from the City Centre.
A 6-person strong team now runs the successful autocentre, which caters to all makes of vehicles for everything from MOTs and services to repairs and car leasing, with the business also supporting the local community through apprenticeships and sponsorship of Dundee & Angus College.
In 2012, a focus on exceptional customer service led MM Auto Services to join the Servicesure Autocentre Network. The membership allows the garage to remain independent whilst also accessing a range of benefits, including a warranty programme for customers.
2019 Service Autocentre of the Year
Now, they’ve reached new heights with owner Murdo being awarded the ‘Winner for Scotland’ prize from Servicesure, and the judges also naming MM Auto Services as the ‘National Winner’ for 2019.
Launched last year, the competition aims to shine a light on best practice and performance from within the Servicesure network. On the night, a delighted Murdo thanked his hard working staff, customers and Dingbro for their continued support.
“The award is a complete reflection of our loyal customers and the exceptional team we’ve grown here,” said Murdo afterwards. “It’s a recognition of the fact that we’ve always been a quality driven business, with exceptional customer service.”
