Award-winning double Mobo winner YolanDa Brown is bringing her “sax appeal” to Aberdeen this weekend as part of a 22-date nationwide tour.
YolanDa, the UK’s premier saxophonist, will perform at the Lemon Tree on Saturday, March 7, proving herself yet again as the UK’s most exciting jazz talent.
With two albums under her belt received to critical acclaim, YolanDa is widely regarded as the emerging “voice” of mainstream jazz in the UK. She has toured with The Temptations, Errol Brown, Courtney Pine and Diana Krall, and collaborated with artists including Mica Paris, Soweto Kinch and as part of Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
