Weekends are a busy time for us, most of them are spent travelling and playing.

With my partner, Ann, watching TV with a glass or two of Prosecco.

Going for a curry at our favourite restaurant in Edinburgh with family.
Ideal weekend partner?
My partner, Ann, we like food of all kinds and enjoy cooking and eating out.
Favourite weekend shopping destination?
Love shopping for food and cooking a great dinner on Sunday.
Favourite place to walk?
The hills in Shetland fishing the lochs. There are hundreds to choose from.
Weekend you’d love to live again
My first American festival at Fox Hollow in New York State around 1970. I met many great musicians, all at the start of their musical careers. A new world opened and changing my life.
Weekend you’d hate to live again?
Sleeping on the floor of Heathrow Airport with thousands of very angry people. At the time, I thought of writing “I’d rather
be here than Heathrow” on my gravestone.
Perfect Sunday breakfast?
Crispy smoked bacon with homegrown eggs, wild mushrooms and strong black coffee.
Your cure for the Sunday blues?
Spicy food and more Prosecco.
Your dream weekend (if money was no object)?
If I had an endless supply of money, I would spend my weekends with my partner flying first class to eat in the world’s greatest restaurants.
