Great British Bake Off returns to our screens tonight for a festive special.

It’ll be the last time fans will see the gang – Mel, Sue, Paul and Mary – all together before the show heads over to its new home on Channel 4.

Here is everything you need to know about the festive special:

WHO IS GOING TO BE ON THE GBBO XMAS SPECIAL?

Among those returning for the festive fun is north-east’s Norman Calder.

The Press and Journal columnist, who hails from Buckie, will be joined by Shetland’s James Morton – whose Fair Isle jumpers became as big a hit with fans as he did.

They will take on series two finalist Mary-Anne Boermans, series three’s Cathryn Dresser and series four’s Ali Imdad, series two’s Janet Basu, series four’s Howard Middleton and series five’s Chetna Makan.

WHAT TIME IS IT ON?

Episode one of The Great Christmas Bake Off will air tonight at 4.45pm, while episode two will be served up at 7pm on Boxing Day – all on BBC One.
