Scores of budding seafarers turned out at a special event to learn more about The Press and Journal’s exotic nautical adventure.

The P&J voyage on the majestic Magellan cruise ship will take passengers on a nine-night tour around some of the world’s most breath-taking scenery.

With up to 1,300 passengers, the glamorous ship will visit awe-inspiring Norwegian fjords and some of Scotland’s stunning islands.

Yesterday, about 50 readers took part in a special DC Thomson Travel event in the Doubletree Hilton, on Aberdeen’s Beach Boulevard.

The main speaker at the event was Ryan Carroll, from Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV).

He provided in-depth detail about the magnificent Magellan ship and what can be expected from the entire cruise experience.

A video was also shown giving a flavour of trip, its sights and sounds, bringing the journey to life.

The morning concluded with a Q&A session.

The P&J Magellan voyage departs from Dundee on June 14, 2020, and arrives back in Greenock 10 days later – after taking in sights including Flam, Bergen and Portree.
