Overnight roadworks on the A86 have been delayed until the start of October.
Resurfacing of the Newtonmore – Spean Bridge road at Kinloch Laggan have been pushed back after community concerns.
The roadworks were due to start on September 21 for three nights, but will now get underway on Sunday, October 5.
Road managers Bear Scotland expect now to complete the job by Friday, October 10.
The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am on the first night.
A convoy system will be in place between 7pm to 6am from the second night until completion.
A convoy working system will also be in place on the A82.
The roadworks have been moved to bring them into line with the Kinloch Laggan works from Tuesday, October 7 to Friday, October 17 to minimise disruption on the busy route.
