Don’t let the lack of ice and weather warnings place you into a false sense of security — a repeat of last week’s travel mayhem could be on the cards.
Temperatures today will reach highs of 7C, but will drop to around -3C tomorrow with a yellow “be aware” warning for snow in Grampian.
So far the roads aren’t looking too bad at all this morning, so let’s enjoy it while it lasts.

Drivers should be cautious of high winds while travelling Skye Bridge and Kessock Bridge.

In Peterhead police have closed the road at the junction of Charlotte Street and Uphill Lane, while Errol Street remains closed following a fire in a fish factory.
The usual congestion can be expected at Holburn Junction, Haudagain Roundabout and the Beach Boulevard in Aberdeen.
Long term roadworks are also in place at the city’s Machar Drive.
