Deeside home crying out for a family

Renowned for its beautiful landscape and interesting wildlife, it’s no surprise that the owners of Tigh Na Birse decided to build their home in Royal Deeside.

The four-bedroom home is located in the parish of Birse, close to Aboyne and Banchory is just 15 minutes away. Both towns have lots of amenities including shops and recreational facilities.

Completed in 2004, the house is surrounded by landscaped gardens extending to around 0.44acres.

Both beautifully presented and extremely practical, this is definitely a home for a growing family.

With an abundance of storage throughout and rooms spread over two floors, there are many highlights here to look at – too many to cover in this article so I will discuss my favourites.

Top of the list is the bright and spacious dining kitchen, which is the perfect hub to the home with the dining area offering another great space for the family.

It has been fitted with a wide range of wall, base, drawer and display units as well as integral appliances and a breakfast bar.

A large window in the kitchen is complemented by patio doors in the dining area ensuring that the whole room is flooded with natural light. The patio doors provide easy access to a raised decking area overlooking the garden, perfect for outdoor dining.

The spacious master bedroom is also something I particularly loved, especially the fact that you can stand in it and enjoy superb panoramic southerly views of the surrounding area.

With ample space for free standing furniture, there is also a deep wall to wall built-in wardrobe accessed via mirror-fronted sliding doors and fitted out with hanging and shelved space.

The en-suite shower room is fitted with a WC, vanity wash-hand basin, aqua panelled corner shower cubicle and heated towel rail. Other rooms of note include three further good-sized bedrooms, a lovely family room and bathroom.

The house is on the market for offers over £450,000 which also includes a double garage with two electric doors, power, light, water and a floored attic area offering additional storage. A timber work shed and dog run with kennel will also be included in the sale price.
