A woman has been taken to hospital after her car landed on its roof during a collision near Turriff.
Emergency services were called to the B9025 just outside of the town at 6.34am.
A spokeswoman for fire and rescue said the woman was already out of the vehicle when crews arrived.
She added: “When we arrived the lady was already out of the car so we helped to make the scene safe and assisted with traffic control.
“She was taken to Turriff Cottage Hospital.
“There was only one car involved in the incident.”
