Police have launched an investigation after a woman’s body was found near a river in Stirling.
A member of the public discovered the woman early this morning and there is no information pointing to her identity.
A police spokesman said:
“Police in Forth Valley were called to Lover’s Walk, Stirling, at around 4.50am on Saturday 19 December where the body of a woman was found.
“Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding the death are at an early stage.
“The road is currently at closed Customs Roundabout and Dean Crescent while officers conduct inquiries at the scene.”
