Emergency services have been called to a collision a mile south of Stonehaven.
The incident involving a car and a van happened just before 12.30pm today on the A90.
Police and ambulance crews have arrived on the scene and a spokeswoman from the police service said there were no injuries to report at this time.
Traffic is flowing on the south-bound carriageway.
The north-bound carriageway is expected to be cleared shortly.
Fire services also attended to secure the scene.
A fire spokeswoman said: “We attended the scene but everyone was safely away by the time we arrived.”
