A90 closed following one-car crash

The A90 has been closed after a one-car crash.

The incident, involving a white Toyota Prius, occurred on the northbound carriageway between Stonehaven and Portlethen at about 3pm.

It is understood the vehicle’s wheel buckled and it veered off the side of the road.

The road has been closed to allow the car to be removed.

No one is believed to have been injured.

UPDATE: The road has now been reopened.
