Two of the Aberdeen’s leading business figures have been made CBEs.
Bob Keiller and Charles Skene were recognised for their contribution to entrepreneurship and enterprise.
Former Wood Group chief executive Mr Keiller, 53, has been chairman of Scottish Enterprise since last year.

And he said: “I’m delighted. My family and friends, especially my wife Lorraine, have supported me every step of the journey and I’ve been privileged to work with fantastic people over the course of my career.
“This honour is really a credit to them and the power of great teamwork.”
Mr Skene is founder and chairman of the Skene Group, which operates business centres, hotel suites and the pioneering Inchmarlo retirement village near Banchory.
The 82-year-old, who continues to work full time, is also visiting professor of entrepreneurship at Robert Gordon University and a past recipient of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
He added: “I am delighted and very honoured.”
Mr Skene insisted he remained determined to make Scotland and the UK better at encouraging young people to pursue their money-making ideas.
He said: “It is taking an awfully long time. We are still not educating people correctly.”
