Emergency crews have been called to a north-east village after a one vehicle crash.
A white Ford Transit van crashed on the B9170 near Cuminestown and police received a 999 call at around 9.45am today.
It is understood an air ambulance has been called.
A police spokeswoman said: “It came in at 9.45am that there was a crash on the B9170. The vehicle is a white Ford Transit. The ambulance is in attendance.”
The severity of any injuries to the driver is not yet known. Emergency crews are still on the scene.
