A joint investigation is being carried out today into the cause of an Aberdeenshire house fire.
The alarm was raised at around 4.30am and emergency services headed to the scene at Bogie Road, Rhynie, near Huntly.
Fire appliances were sent from Insch, Huntly, Alford, Aberdeen Central and a specialist incident unit from Peterhead also attended.
A fire spokeswoman said the blaze has been extinguished and crews are currently dampening down using an aerial unit.
She added a joint investigation will be carried out between police and fire services.
