Scott Smith, 35, of Carnie Way, Elrick, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted punching Mr Nairn on the head. The incident happened on December 22 on Union Street. “I’ve been in some of the most dangerous cities in the world, but I’ve only ever been punched in the face on Union Street” Smith was fined £900 by Sheriff Raymond McMenamin.
