Motorists are facing disrupted journeys after an Aberdeenshire bridge partly collapsed and forced the closure of a countryside road.
The small bridge, on the B979 road betweeen Newmachar and Hatton of Fintray, is understood to have partially crumbled last night.
Diversions have been put in place, with drivers advised to take the B993 to Whiterashes, then join the B993 towards Inverurie, before taking the A96 to Kintore and rejoining the B979 towards Hatton of Fintray.
Aberdeenshire Council has apologised for the disruption.
