Emergency services attend vehicle on fire on north-east road

Emergency services have attended a vehicle on fire on the A96 near Aberdeen this morning.

Police and fire crews attended the blaze just off the Blackburn roundabout at 7.05am this morning.

The incident involved one car and partially closed the road.

A Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “The driver is out of the vehicle and the car is currently sitting just off the carriageway.”

There are no injuries.
