Snow is expected in the north and north-east as the Met Office issue a yellow weather warning for today and tomorrow.
Rain will turn to snow over higher hills across Grampian and the Highlands today and then to some lower levels during this evening.

A few centimetres of snow may affect higher routes before a slow improvement follows tomorrow. At lower levels, snow will struggle to settle on tarmac and concrete surfaces.
Some icy patches are also possible.
