A Rangers supporters bus was attacked by “reckless” yobs who damaged one of its windows as it left Aberdeen.
Following a spate of antisocial behaviour surrounding the Dons’ tie with Hibs at Pittodrie on Saturday, police issued a warning for fans to be on their best behaviour for Tuesday night’s clash with the Glasgow side.
And though there was little trouble during the 1-1 draw, as a bus took Gers supporters from the city it was set upon by a group of youths.

The three culprits hurled objects at the vehicle as it was being driven westbound on Hutcheon Street, near Mounthooly roundabout, between 9.50pm and 10pm.
Police yesterday asked for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.
Chief Inspector Martin Mackay said: “Inquiries are ongoing to trace a group of three males, described as ‘youths’, who were seen in the area at the time.
“They were last seen heading in the Gallowgate direction and one was wearing a white jacket.
“What is concerning is the fact the coach was moving at the time – such a reckless act put everyone on the bus in danger as well as pedestrians, and it goes without saying that the outcome could have been much worse.
“Given the general good behaviour of the crowd, this incident is particularly disappointing.”
A spokesman for Aberdeen FC last night condemned those responsible, but pointed out that they may not have been Dons supporters.
He said: “We do not condone any inappropriate behaviour, and any Aberdeen fan found to have done this will be dealt with accordingly.”
Six men were charged following the Hibs game – including an Edinburgh 44-year-old allegedly caught urinating in a cemetery near Pittodrie.
A local 19-year-old was arrested for having alcohol within the stadium and an Aberdeen 59-year-old was charged with making alleged sectarian and offensive comments during the match.
A second 59-year-old was charged with an alleged assault within the stadium.
Ahead of the Rangers game, police issued an appeal for people to “act responsibly to ensure the night is memorable for all the right reasons”.
