A schoolboy saved up his pocket money to buy essential items for homeless people in the north-east.
Riley Winton made it his mission to ensure those without homes would have access to the essentials they need.
The 10-year-old decided to support Aberdeen charity Street Friends Helping the Homeless after his mum Laura Winton spotted an appeal for items.
He decided to make a poster appealing for donations, and his mum put it on social media to help spread the word.
Riley then set up his own drop-off point, collecting food, toiletries and other essentials for the charity.

Mrs Winton said said: “I saw online that Street Friends were appealing for some food stuff so I showed it to Riley and asked if he would like to collect things.
“He said yes and was really excited to help.
“Once I received the posters I took a photo of Riley with one and posted it on my social media page.
“We instantly had people messaging asking if they could donate items for Riley’s collection.
“Riley read all the comments and was blown away by everyone’s kind words and generosity.”
The mountain of items included gloves, socks, shirts, a sleeping bag, dog chews, travel mugs, long-life foods and toiletries including sanitary products.
This is the second Christmas Riley has helped the homeless after he decided to miss his school party to give gifts to those on the streets.
The Banff primary pupil has attachment disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) so understanding social situations can be hard.
But he knew the people were in need so decided that collecting items from others was not enough.
Mrs Winton said: “On our way into Aberdeen we stopped at Asda and Riley used his £28 pocket money he had saved up to buy more things.
“We then went to the drop off point and Riley met the woman in charge of the Street Friends, Ann Deans.
“She was shocked at how much he had taken in and gave him a certificate and selection box as well as a big hug to say thank you.
“Riley is unaware of what a big deal this is and how kind his heart is.
“He just wants to help the homeless because they don’t have things.
“Me and his dad, David, are both so proud of him.”
