Parents struggling to entertain their children over the Christmas holidays are being invited to drop them off at free English and maths workshops.
Explore Learning will host the sessions on Saturday, December 29 to ensure youngsters are prepared for the new term.
A range of classes covering phonics, telling the time and word problems will be held throughout the day with different sessions tailored to different age groups between 4-11 years old.
Head of curriculum Charlotte Gater said: “Parents will rack their brains for fun and affordable activities to do over the Christmas break so we hope that we can offer families who’ve never been to see us before a place to bring their children where they know they are having fun while learning something new.”
