Police have launched an investigation after a wedding guest was taken to hospital seriously injured.
The man, understood to be the father of the bride, was believed to have been taken out of the Marriott Hotel in Dyce on a stretcher late on Saturday night.
He was one of around 100 people in attendance at the ceremony inside the Pitmedden Suite.

It’s understood the man, who has not been named, was discovered lying on the ground by a member of staff before he was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Police arrived at the scene soon afterwards to investigate, cordoning off the area where he was found and taking statements from scores of distraught wedding guests.
Officers described the man as being in a “serious” condition in hospital.
Last night some of those in attendance said that they were told to “keep distracting the kids” while the incident was dealt with on Saturday night.
A wedding guest said: “The father-of-the-bride was found unconscious at the top of the stairs leading to the toilets by a member of staff.
“When I left, access to the area leading to the toilets had been cordoned off by police who were still on duty.”
And another guest said: “It was a disaster.
“The daughter is absolutely heartbroken She’s been at his bedside all day.”
It is not yet known how the man sustained the head injury at the city hotel but police are working to establish the cause of it.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 10.50pm.
Sergeant Rory Campbell said: “Inquiries are currently ongoing into the circumstances surrounding how this man came to be injured – further information will be issued in due course if necessary.
“I would like to thank all those who have helped with our inquiries so far and to staff at the hotel for their assistance.”
Kirsty Holburd, manager of the Marriott Hotel, said that staff were “aware of the incident” and continued to work with the authorities on the matter.
The man’s family were contacted, but declined to comment.
