Police were called to Garthdee Road shortly after 2.30pm yesterday. The incident involved a grey Volkswagen Passat and a bicycle. The nine-year-old was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance crews. He injuries are described as non-serious. The road was closed for some time while officers investigated. A police spokeswoman said the man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal. PC Allen Begg added: “We are grateful to members of the public for their assistance and for their patience while the road was briefly closed.”
