The new children’s play area at Aden Country Park will open on July 3, it has been announced.
A statement from the Mintlaw park said it will “partially open” at 10am next Wednesday.
A short ceremony will officially mark the opening before the public are invited to enjoy the new facilities.
A double zip wire, a sand play area, a biodiversity-themed pond space and a massive castle climbing frame are among some of the new attractions.
The bright £300,000 play area is part of a wider effort to make the attraction even more appealing to visitors.
Heritage Lottery Funding made £2.13 million available for the restoration and redevelopment of the country park last year, with the remaining sum needed for the playpark being donated in March.
The park will have a grand opening in September or October.
