Five appliances have battled a boat blaze at Macduff Harbour.
The alarm was raised just before 9am.
A fire spokeswoman said crews from Macduff, Portsoy, Aberhirder, Turriff and Peterhead were sent to the sene. An aerial appliance from Aberdeen was alsorequested.
She said the vessel is called Genesis and is 150 tonnes.
Police have been made aware and the Coastguard is also involved.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A number of the appliances will remain on the scene.
