Dons fans have been invited to join two club legends for a fundraising night next month.

An evening with Craig Brown and Joe Harper has been organised by Aberdeen FC’s catering and events partner, Sodexo to raise money in aid of Aberdeen FC Community Trust, the official charity partner of the club.

Guests will get the chance to quiz the duo during an informal chat hosted by the charity’s trustee, Steve Innes.

From 1993 to 2001, Brown was the manager of the Scottish national side.

During this time, he was at the helm for 70 international matches, more than any other Scotland manager, and led the team to the Euros in 1996 and the World Cup in 1998.

Following stints at Preston North End and Motherwell, Brown took charge at Aberdeen in December 2010, where he remained until his retirement at the end of the 2012-13 season.

Harper had two spells at Aberdeen, the first from 1969 to 1972 during which he helped the Dons lift the Scottish Cup.

He returned in 1976 for a further four years and remains the club’s all-time top goal scorer.

Guests will enjoy an arrival drink, two-course meal, live auction and raffle.

Tickets are £35. For further information or to book, Eventbrite, e-mail salesaberdeen@sodexo.com or call 01224 650 445.
