A city councillor has gone on trial accused of sexually assaulting a man during a function.
Alan Donnelly, 65, appeared in the dock today following allegations that he inappropriately touched and kissed a man at the event in central Aberdeen in November.
His alleged victim, who gave evidence behind a screen, said the incident had left him “mentally disturbed”.
Donnelly denies the allegations.
His trial will continue in October.
