Passengers will soon be able to once again fly from the north-east to Paris.
The non-stop daily Air France Hop service from Aberdeen to Charles de Gaulle airport will resume on Tuesday, September 1.
Each flight will hold up to 76 passengers, with strict hygiene measures including the compulsory wearing of face coverings and pre-boarding temperature checks.
Roger Hunt, interim managing director of Aberdeen International Airport, said: “We are in constant dialogue with our airline partners to ensure we support them with their restart plans.
“After a number of really challenging months and with lockdown beginning to show signs of easing, it is reassuring to see a number of routes restarting and frequencies increasing from Aberdeen.”
Benedicte Duval, general manager for Air France KLM in the UK and Ireland, said: “As borders reopen and travel restrictions begin to ease, safety is our number one priority.
