A woman has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the A90.
Emergency services attended the incident on the A90 Northbound, near Fordoun, just after 3.30pm.
One woman involved in the accident has been to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment and her injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.
Part of the A90 remains closed and road users are being urged to take an alternative route if possible.
A Police spokeswoman said: “We received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A90 near Fordoun.
“Emergency services attended and a woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for injuries that aren’t believed to be life threatening.”
Fire crews were also called out to assist the ambulance service at 3.27pm.
