A man has been arrested and one taken to hospital following a disturbance in Aberdeen.
Police were called to Back Hilton Road following reports of a disturbance.
Shocked passerbys said the incident took place in a phonebox just outside Ashgrove Court and the roundabout at the top of Back Hilton Road.
Officers have cordoned off an area of the road and remain at the scene.
One woman, who was on their way home from work, said: “There was a guy on the ground bleeding.
“There were lots of police and two ambulances on the scene.
“There was a huge crowd of people.”
She added: “Quite a few people had stopped to help.”
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland is currently in attendance at Back Hilton Road in Aberdeen after a report of a disturbance.
“Two men, aged 30 and 32 have been taken to hospital for treatment and inquiries are ongoing.
“One of them has been arrested.”
