A 10-year-old boy will be reported to the Children’s Panel after more than 30 cars were vandalised in Bucksburn.
The attack caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the cars, which had been scraped with a sharp object.
The incident in the Miltonfold area happened on Tuesday morning.
Inspector Jacqueline Craig, of the local community policing team, said: “We want to thank the local community for their help in bringing this matter to a swift conclusion.”
