[[success]] Email address Sign up Police have confirmed the body of a missing person has been found in Peterhead. A member of the public found the body in an unoccupied property on Backgate, Peterhead yesterday afternoon at 1.45pm. A police statement, released this afternoon confirmed the body was that of missing person Malcolm MacNeil, also known as Calum. Mr MacNeil, 42, had been reported missing from the Peterhead area on February 28. The death is being treated as unexplained and as is standard a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
