VIDEO: Granite City Comic Con is coming back…bigger and better

Fans of comic books, superheroes, anime, action and sci-fi were treated to an eagerly awaited announcement today (Friday August 14).

Organisers of the recent Granite City Comic Con posted a video announcing that they are already deep in the planning process for a 2016 event…and it’s even bigger than the 2015 event.

Excited people proved the popularity fantastical fiction holds in the north-east when they queued in their thousands to attend the inaugural Granite City Comic Con back in May.

Now the organisers dubbing themselves ‘The Council of Three’ have announced their ambitious plans for a huge three day event from April 29-May 2 2016.

Moving away from Transition Extreme skatepark on the beach boulevard, which was simply too small to accommodate the throng of fans, organisers have booked The Hilton Tree Tops.

And two very special guests have already been announced for the convention.

Watch the video and see who they are, True Believers.

(Neither special guest is Stan Lee)
