Aberdeen coastguard has been called to Cruden Bay after a male climber in his forties fell near Twa Havens.
The call was made at 10.10am this morning and a helicopter has been sent from Inverness alongside rescue teams from Aberdeen, Cruden Bay and Peterhead.
A coastguard spokesman said: “The male climber has fallen less than half a mile north of the Slains Castle and has injured his pelvis.”
Update: The man has been transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
