Thieves have smashed the window of an Aberdeen hairdresser and made off with four sets of hair straighteners.
Tek-nique Hair Design on Hollybank Place was broken into just after midnight last night.
A member of the public is understood to have come across the broken window and police are now investigating.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were called just after midnight by a member of the public.
“The hairdresser had been broken into. We arrived to find a window had been smashed.
“Investigations will be carried out today.”
Four hair straighteners, including three GHD’s worth more than £100 each, were stolen during the raid.
