The body of a man has been found in a popular Aberdeen park.
Emergency services were alerted to the discovery at Victoria Park at about 8.40am on Saturday morning.
Police and ambulance staff attended but the man was found to be dead.
A spokesman for the police said that the death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
A police presence remains at the park, which is currently cordoned off.
A force spokeswoman said: “We can confirm the body of a man has been found at Victoria Park in Aberdeen.
“We received a call at 8.40am on Saturday reporting a person lying in the park.
“Ambulance and police both attended but the man was found to be deceased.
“Inquiries are ongoing at the scene.”
