
An Aberdeen man has appeared in court in connection with a spate of high-value thefts in the north-east.
Andrew Summers Stuart made no plea or declaration when he appeared at the city’s sheriff court yesterday.
The 40-year-old faces four charges including housebreaking and two separate thefts.
In total Mr Stuart is accused of stealing property, including a car, worth more than £50,000.
He is also alleged to have attempted to raid an ATM. All the offences are alleged to have taken place in the Cults and Bieldside areas of the city last month.
Mr Stuart is expected to appear in court later this month.
