Officers are investigating today after a police car was set alight on an Aberdeen street.
The incident happened during the early hours of yesterday morning at the rear of Mastrick Police Station in a lane connecting Greenfern Road to Arnage Drive.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed that the vehicle was a police car although the damage done does not appear to be severe.
Detective Constable Jonathan Spence said: “There was minimal damage caused and no suggestion any persons were put in danger as a result of this reckless act but we are appealing for anyone who witnessed or has information in relation to this incident to contact us as soon as possible.”
