An Aberdeen man has been charged in connection with a spate of alleged thefts and robberies across the city.
The 26-year-old is accused of stealing a bag from an 83-year-old woman at Beach Boulevard in February.
He also faces charges of trying to take a 29-year-old woman’s handbag later that month in Rosemount Viaduct.
The man is also accused of attempted robbery of handbags – meaning he allegedly attacked his victims, who were both women in their twenties – in Orchard Street last month, and King Street at the beginning of this month.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow.
