A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after a collision with a car on a busy city centre street.
Emergency services were called to George Street, Aberdeen, at around 12.45pm today following the crash.
The injuries of the man are not known, but understood not to be life-threatening.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The collision involved a cyclist and a vehicle.
“The male cyclist, who was injured, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
“The road was closed for a time, but reopened at 1.10pm.”
It is understood the vehicle involved was a black Suzuki car.
