A man has appeared in court following the “significant” seizure of drugs in Aberdeen.
James Johnston was charged after an estimated £170,000 worth of drugs was recovered from the Summerfield Place area of the city on Wednesday.
He appeared at a private hearing on petition at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
The 51-year-old, who lives in the city, was charged with being involved in the supply of drugs.
He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail and is expected to return to court at a later date.
Detective Inspector Allen Shaw described the seizure as significant and urged the public to report any concerns about illegal substances to the police.
