A north-east man has confessed to breaking into six cars and stealing items inside.
Joseph Bissett broke into vehicles on Kirkwall Avenue, Orkney Avenue, the Chanonry and Seaview Close, over a five-day period in October.
He struck at night and stole items including satellite navigation systems and a bag containing money.
On three occasions he was unable to make off with anything.
The 41-year-old made the confession during an appearance at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
He was also accused of a further 29 thefts from vehicles in the city ranging from March to November however his pleas of not guilty were accepted.
Sheriff Christine McCrossan deferred sentence to allow reports to be obtained.
Bissett was released on bail on the condition that he does not leave his home on Burnbank Terrace in Aberdeen between 8pm and 7am.
He will return to court next month.
