A man has been injured after a one-vehicle crash in Aberdeen city centre.
The vehicle he was in crashed into a lamppost on King Street just after 11pm.
Fire crews were called to the scene to stabilise the vehicle then used hydraulic cutting gear to free the man from the car.
Two saws were also used to cut away some fencing at the scene.
It is understood the man suffered injuries to his lower leg and lower back, but these are not thought to be serious.
