The organisers of the fashion show for men affected by cancer have urged more applicants to join the campaign.
Friends of Anchor is looking for males, who have faced the reality of a cancer diagnosis, to apply for inclusion in the 24-strong Brave line-up.
The charity, which also stages Courage on the Catwalk for women who have experienced cancer, has teamed up with Premiere Productions UK to produce the professional show at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen.
Sarah-Jane Hogg, PR and fundraising manager for Friends of Anchor, said: “With Brave now in its second year, we can’t wait to welcome some of the region’s most inspirational men to the catwalk.
“We have had great interest so far, but need a few more courageous men to come forward, and would encourage anyone who is considering applying to do so.
“You don’t need any modelling experience – our talented team will teach the models everything they need to know.
“Traditionally, men don’t tend to speak so openly about health issues, and one of our aims with Brave is to change that. We have seen friendships forged and the camaraderie among the people taking part is great.
“The big night will an unforgettable experience and we look forward to sharing it with the stars of the hour – our models.”
Those chosen will be trained for the catwalk and professionally styled to take to the runway at the live show on Friday, May 11.
