Popular Aberdeen bakery Aitkens is shutting up shop with four properties for sale.
David Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones, has taken to social media begging locals to visit Aitkens bakery before it shuts for good.

Branches in Glenbervie Road, Menzies Road, John Street and Holburn Street are listed for sale with property agents FG Burnett.
It’s unknown as to why the bakery is up for sale.
This is not the first time Jones has taken to social media over an Aberdeen delicacy – he tweeted asking for help making butteries last month.
