A person was injured in the early hours of today following a flat fire.
The blaze broke out in the kitchen of a third floor property in a four-storey building on King Street at about 12.30am.
Three appliances, with 13 firefighters on board, were called to the scene and managed to put out the fire, which had been sparked by unattended cooking, a short time later.
One person had suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene.
It is not known how serious their condition was.
