The recovery was made following an intelligence-led operation yesterday. A mid four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.
The 26-year-old man is due to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail said: “We are committed to targeting those intent on bringing drugs to the north-east with the sole purpose of making money which can only serve to spread harm and misery in our communities.
“We rely on the support of our communities and are grateful to members of the public for their assistance. If you have any concerns regarding drugs police can be contacted on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
