Aberdeen police have confirmed that a 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to a fire at a residential property.
The incident occurred yesterday, at a property on Urquhart Road.
Sergeant Keith Greig said: “I would like to thank witnesses, residents and motorists in the local area for their patience and support whilst this incident was dealt with.
“Incidents like this are very rare and any reports of this kind will be investigated thouroughly”.
The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow.
